What kind of food do you serve at The Ferry House Inn?

We serve freshly cooked, hearty home-cooked food using quality ingredients, with a menu that includes fresh fish and steak dishes, as well as homemade favourites such as pie, curry and lasagne. We also offer a choice of real ales and local craft beers, with meals served in our conservatory restaurant overlooking the Cleddau estuary.

What days and times do you serve food?

Lunch is served from 12:00 pm–2:00 pm every day. Dinner is served from 6:00 pm–8:00 pm every day except Sunday evening.

The bar is open from 12:00 noon every day. Bar closing times vary depending on the day and business levels, so please call us on 01646 600270 for current closing times.

Booking is recommended for food, particularly during busy periods.

Do I need to book a table?

Booking is recommended, especially at weekends and during the summer. You can request a table through our website or call us on 01646 600270. Walk-ins are welcome when we have space.

Do you cater for dietary requirements (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan)?

Yes. We can cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets. If you have any dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances, please let our team know when booking so we can do our best to accommodate you.

Do you serve Sunday lunch?

Yes. Sunday lunch is served every Sunday from 12:00 pm–2:30 pm during the autumn and winter season. We serve a traditional Sunday roast with all the usual trimmings.

Sunday lunch is paused during the summer months and resumes in the autumn.

ROOMS & ACCOMMODATION

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 1:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. If you’d like a later check-out, please ask in advance and we’ll do our best to help.

What are your rooms like?

We have six individually designed en-suite bedrooms, each with a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and premium white linen. Several rooms enjoy views over our gardens and the Cleddau estuary, while our family rooms sleep up to four guests (two adults and two children).

Please note that all rooms are accessed by stairs.

Free Wi-Fi is available for guests throughout the Inn.

Is breakfast included with the room?

Yes. Breakfast is included for B&B residents.

We offer a full cooked breakfast, as well as a selection of cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available.

Breakfast is served 7:30 am–9:30 am Monday to Friday and 8:30 am–9:30 am at weekends.

Is there parking for guests?

Yes. Free on-site parking is available for guests.

Are dogs and children welcome to stay?

Children are welcome. Our family rooms sleep two adults and two children, with an extra roll-away bed available.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our Bar & Lounge areas, but dogs are not permitted in the guest accommodation.

If you would like to dine with your dog, please book a table in advance so we can ensure we can accommodate you in one of our dog-friendly areas.
